The Housing Assistance Program is administered by the Student Services Department. The Housing Assistance Program serves primarily as a housing referral agency, collecting data on independent housing opportunities, preparing monthly housing lists and providing other useful information to students.
Students desiring more traditional apartment-style living might want to investigate the following independent apartment complexes, all of which are within a short driving distance to campus.

Options For students who may wish to rent a sleeping room or perhaps share an entire house with other students, or for students at the Lancaster Campus, the Student Services Department maintains an independent housing list. The list is a record of landlords and apartment complexes in both the York and Lancaster areas that have historically rented rooms, houses or apartments to our students. The information in the listing has been submitted by the landlord. The Student Services Department requests that landlords update the information prior to the start of every term. While every effort is made to indicate dates that a rental unit is open, not all units listed will be immediately available. This list is available by contacting the Student Services Department.
