Medical Assistants perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep physician or health care offices and clinics running smoothly. As a caring, dedicated member of a medical team, the Medical Assistant handles duties such as scheduling appointments, patient billing, health insurance coding, taking vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, collecting laboratory specimens and much more.
