Test Proctoring
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) departments (Educational Support Services, Library and Information Services) will require all students to provide proof of identity to use the test proctoring service. As all students now have YTI-issued student identification cards, this will be the preferred proof of identity. Other forms of identification will be accepted if the staff can use that document to establish a student's identity with reasonable certainty.
Test Proctoring Request Forms are now available at the LRC Desks. The LRC staff will require that a form be completed by the faculty member for each test to be proctored.
In addition to the completed Test Proctoring Request Form, faculty must provide one copy of the test to be proctored for each student. Each individual student's copy of the test should be labeled with the student's name and the name of the instructor. The LRC staff will no longer accept unnamed tests.
Questions regarding these policies can be directed to any Educational Support Services department Developmental Skills Coordinator, and Library and Information Services department Information Services Specialist, or to the Director of Learning Resources.
