Career Services

During your first term at YTI you will be assigned a Career Services Specialist who will assist you in setting your career goals and mapping out the path to reach them that is best suited with your personal skills and ambitions.

Throughout your training, your Career Services Specialist will help keep you focused on your goals by encouraging you to keep an accurate record of your accomplishments, skills and training - the stepping stone to successfully entering into a new career after graduation.

Career Placement Assistance

Externships* (Real Work Experience)
Outside externships are incorporated into the last term of your program curriculum to help you gain practical experience. They also provide a great resource for gathering contacts and may even lead to a full-time position.

Career Networking Events
Each year a minimum of two Career Fairs are held at YTI with up to 70 employers attending each event. Career Fairs are a great way to learn about potential employers, network with employer contacts and obtain helpful career information.
