{July 31, 2006 York, PA}- YTI Career Institute (YTI) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Computer Learning Network (CLN). The acquisition is expected to be consummated during September of 2006, subject principally to the receipt of certain regulatory approvals.
"The acquisition of CLN is consistent with our strategy to establish a network of high quality career education institutions within the Central and Western Pennsylvania region", said Tim Foster, Chairman and CEO of YTI Career Institute. "With CLN's strong presence in Mechanicsburg and Altoona they will complement YTI's York and Lancaster schools nicely," Foster added.
According to Gabe Royer, President of Computer Learning Network, "With the continuing consolidation of the career education industry we felt that it was important for us to join a larger network of facilities in order to best serve current and future students and faculty. We are delighted to have reached this agreement with YTI Career Institute."
